My wife and I had a great experience at Tonkin Hyundai Gladstone. Alan Hassen and Ian Girtman took very good care of us. We actually spent 2 days there test driving multiple cars. No hard sell, more like helping us buy a car that fit our particular needs. They were patient, answered all our questions and went out of their way, above and beyond to try and get us what we needed. They treated us like part of the family.

Ian was great at showing me all the options for the car and payment and was a pleasure to work with. He came with to get the cashier's check to make sure it had the right information on it and shutted me from the rental car drop-off to kill two birds with one stone. Everyone was very professional and easy to work with. My only gripe would be that they don't take deposits to hold a car so you have to show up asap if you want a high throughput car.

Throw away your ideas about car salesman. I had the best experience ever buying a new car. It was my first EV and ll my questions were answered and there was absolutely no pressure.

After experiencing months of an absolute nightmare car buying situation with another dealership, Alan and his team have been solid in our dealings with them from the beginning. We weren't planning to walk away with a car, but fell in love with one slightly over budget, and she worked with finance to make sure our monthly payment dropped within budget. We traded in a car and got a better estimate on it than othet dealerships had offered. We never felt pushed or pressured into signing or agreeing to anything, and when we asked for different cost estimates to be drawn up they did it right away. My first visit to Gladstone Tonkin Hyundai was all positive. Service Advisor Preston met me when I arrived, checked my car in and had multiple service and recall issues taken care of. He showed me details of my car and kept me updated as they worked on my car. I will definitely return for all of my Hyundai needs as I plan to keep my Palisade for a long time so I want to keep it properly maintained.

We recently had our vehicle in for service and had to return to pick up the car without the problem being cured. A few weeks later I returned the car to the service department for the same issue. This time Mary was my service writer and she was able to get Hyundai to warranty the transmission!!! I can’t say enough postive things about Mary and her persistence and professionalism to create the results that a customer is due. Mary is a blessing to the service department.

I want to acknowledge Mary at the Hyundai service center in Gladstone. She was great! She made sure that I was able to drop my towed car and jump into a loaner and be on my way. And with a snack! She made it simple and efficient. She's an asset to the company!

Alan was amazing! He went above and beyond for me. I have had a very difficult year and was needing a change for my mental health and needed something with low mileage, newer and within my budget. He gave mw the time and space to see how I could adjust financially and advocated for me with the financial team and management. I have bought my last 3 cars through Hyundai Gladstone & Hyundai Gresham, this was by far my best experience.

Great customer service. I felt informed when services were suggested. I went in for an oil change, but ended up getting a 4x4 service, fuel injection service and cabin air filter replaced. Paid more than I would have liked, but I’m confident my car will continue to perform as expected and that’s what’s important to me.

Tonkin Gladstone Hyundai is a great place for service. I recommend them as a great okace to service your Hyundai. Thien was knowledgeable in answering all of my questions, and after my routine oil change, he showed me a list of future service recommendations, including my brake pads’ percentage remaining, with no pressure or hype. My wait time was minimal as well. I will definitely be taking my car to this location again.

Mitch in finance was, also, easy to work with - no push on extras, but explanations so I could evaluate other options. Pleasant staff and efficient service

Good service, everyone is friendly. Gave me a ride to a coffee shop while I waited and picked me up. I appreciated their prompt ability to get me in, better labor estimates than other dealers and stuck to the estimate.

Amazing customer service. I shared my frustration with long wait times at another dealership and Thien and his whole team demonstrated their differences! I will be back without hesitation and have already shared my experience with friends that iwn Hyundai.

No real good parking here. I drove right past the guest parking. The staff is nice enough but the part I needed wasn't in stock and I was told it would be two to three days before it came in.

I had a fantastic experience buying my new car here! Alan was exceptional, he was incredibly patient, answered every question I had, and truly went above and beyond to make the process smooth. I spoke with Ian on Wednesday looking for a good alternative for a 3rd row seat vehicle that I could use for work and take all my grandchildren to events with me. He quickly found me 2 alternatives in the area, spent hours researching and picked up the best alternative for me to test drive. It was a perfect fit and was even better than I had expected. I leased a new Hyundai Ioniq 5 this week from Tonkin Gladstone Hyundai. I’m always apprehensive about car shopping. As the lease on my previous car was ending, I first looked for a current model of the same car at the dealer I got it from. But I got turned off when they tried to pressure me, despite being a returning customer. I first checked about the Ioniq 5 online, and Tonkin was responsive. I was wary, but they genuinely worked to make a lease deal that fit what I wanted. Everyone I dealt with was helpful and friendly, but not pushy. I’m happy with the car and the deal, but happiest about finding a car dealer that made me feel welcomed and listened to what I wanted.

Very good experience with this dealership. Jorge was very professional on the phone and straight to the point. Jake and the manger Jake were also very understanding of my situation and were more than able to work with me and get me a relatively decent deal. Thanks again!

Logan the sales person was wonderful to work with , explained everything well took my concerns seriously was able to even deliver the car to my home from dealership to Scappoose. They Listen to my concerns and able to get a financial deal that was affordable, would recommend it them highly.

We had a great experience working with Travis in sales and Greg in finance. The only thing I will say is that we received 2 key fabs for our received purchased Hyundai Palasade and 1 of them isn't working. My daughter pointed out to me last night that a placed guard that covers some nuts and bolts in the second row of seats is missing on the driver's side. It would have been nice to have had a full tank of gas as well. The 1 non working key fab stands out the most. Reason being is that when I was down the street from the dealership filling the gas tank 🆙️ I was able to "push to start" the car because I had the inactive key fab and my lady had to double back to give me her key fab to start the vehicle. Which was a slight inconvenience to say the least. For those reasons alone I can't give 5 stars!
