At Tonkin Gladstone Hyundai, we believe that being part of a community means more than just doing business, it means showing up, giving back, and making a real difference in the lives of our neighbors. From ensuring children have the food they need to thrive, to supporting those who've faced unimaginable hardship, funding life-saving cancer research, and inspiring the next generation of innovators, our commitment to the Gladstone community runs deep. We're proud to partner with organizations that share our values and work tirelessly to create a brighter, more hopeful future for all.

Backpack Buddies

At Tonkin Gladstone Hyundai, we believe that every child deserves access to nutritious food, especially when school meals are unavailable over the weekend. That’s why we proudly support Backpack Buddies, a local organization working to combat child food insecurity. Through this initiative, we donate resources, raise awareness, and actively volunteer to pack and distribute food backpacks to children in need. Our dealership’s involvement ensures that vulnerable children receive the nourishment they need to stay healthy, focused, and ready to learn throughout the week.

Angels in the Outfield

Supporting children who have faced trauma, abuse, and neglect is a cause close to our hearts at Tonkin Gladstone Hyundai. Through our partnership with Angels in the Outfield, we provide financial contributions, organize volunteer efforts, and participate in community events to support this incredible nonprofit. By assisting with holiday programs, fundraising, and ensuring that these children have access to resources for healing, we play a role in bringing hope, stability, and joy to young lives that need it most.

Hope on Wheels

As part of our commitment to giving back, Tonkin Gladstone Hyundai is a proud supporter of Hyundai Hope on Wheels, a nonprofit initiative dedicated to funding pediatric cancer research. Through fundraising events and awareness campaigns, we contribute to critical research efforts aimed at finding better treatments and ultimately a cure for childhood cancer. Our dealership’s involvement helps provide hope for families and children affected by cancer, empowering scientific progress that can lead to life‑saving breakthroughs.

By providing resources, mentorship, and community support, we help these young minds build robots, compete in challenges, and gain valuable hands‑on experience that will serve them well in their future careers. It’s our way of inspiring and empowering the future leaders of the tech world.
